College and 3rd Street Planters

When I worked for the City of Bloomington, these street planters needed re-designing with plants on hand. I was able to divide plants from one of our parks and install them to add color to a drab intersection, while maintaining line-of-sight for drivers and considering draught tolerance.

Wild Geranium and Nodding Onion bring early summer color. Lanceleaf Coreopsis adds cheery yellow and long summer blooms, with Rudbeckia subtomentosa taking charge later in the season.
