Garden Bed Refresh with Stone Edging

Adding native plants to existing gardens is a great way to increase wildlife support. This bed was overgrown and hard for the homeowner to manage.

I removed weeds, lawn grass, and invasive plants like Purple Loosestrife. We added native shrubs and forbs, while rearranging existing plants into a cohesive design. Existing stone edging was lowered and leveled for easy mowing. Now it's easier to access, easier to maintain, and offering more for the birds and bumblebees!
